Key Tenants

  • It should never be assumed that an application’s use will only be restricted to usage within a single locale.
  • Performance, security, functionality and usability must be evaluated in terms of global availability. While this doesn’t mean that an application’s interface should be multi-language out of the box, it does imply that the interface’s architecture and design is built to allow it.
  • Global security policies
  • Technology “shrinks” the globe; less virtual distance between us
